The Humane Society of Greater Miami invites all animal lovers to the “Walk for Animals”



It is that time of the year again! The Humane Society of Greater Miami will host their “Walk for the Animals” on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami. Registration to the event starts at 8:30 am with a morning filled with entertainment and activities for the whole family. The Walk for Animals will start promptly at 10:00 am.

Fun & Contests for Pets and People:
  • Best Kisser
  • Doggie Look-a-like
  • Kid’s Area with bounce house
  • “Paw”casso prints
  • Fun, Games and Raffles
  • Special appearance of the incredible Purina ProPlan Performance Team. Watch these amazingly talented and athletic canines perform incredible flying routines!
Come on out and “walk the walk” and go “the extra mile” to help our furry friends and homeless animals in the Miami area. Even if you don't have a dog, you can help! Join a pack (woof, woof) or walk on your own..

Ryan Phillips, NBC6's meteorologist and JulieGuy, morning anchor at 101.5 LITE FM will emcee the event. Stop by and say hi! to them. Who knows? you might even find that special someone... Adorable puppies, cute little kittens, dogs and cats from local rescue groups will be available for adoption and are ready to meet you!


The Humane Society of Greater Miami is a not-for-profit 501-C3 charitable animal welfare organization supported solely by donations, private grants and fundraising events. They rely on our local community for financial support.
