The mission of the Green Dog Day Festival is to unite the neighborhoods of the South River District and showcase the talents, neighborhoods and local businesses through the event benefiting shelter dogs and animals through donations, education, and adoption. Its secondary mission is to promote green and healthy living through the horticulture vendors, educational presenters and farmers market.
