SUNTRUST SUNDAY JAZZ FESTIVAL

The Humane Society of Broward County will host two Vaccination Clinics in March'09


  • Saturday, September 26th will be for kitty cats only. 7:00am-9:00am.
  • Sunday, Sunday September 27 will be for doggies only. 7:00am - 11:00am
In addition to all required vaccines, they will be offering other services that are essential to maintain our best friends healthy and safe:
  • Micro Chip and Registration
  • Heartworm test for doggies
  • De-wormer medication
  • Rabies tag Broward County only
  • Puppies and kittens packages
If your pet needs vaccinations, take advantage of this great opportunity! No appointment necessary. The clinic is held in the back parking lot of the shelter which is located at 2070 Griffin Road, just west of I-95.
The Humane Society of Broward County is a private, non-profit organization supported by donations from companies and people who want to help homeless animals.

Markham Park Pet Festival – March 21 & 22!

Everybody is welcome to the largest annual pet festival in South Florida!

Broward County Parks is hosting
Markham Park's Pet Festival on March 21 & 22, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

This whole weekend event will have lots of fun and activities for pets and families:
  • K-9 Sports
  • Air K-9s Frisbee toss and fetch competition
  • American IDOGS Fun Zone
  • Flyball challenge and team Madd Mac Lure Coursing
  • Rock climbing wall
  • Bounce houses and face painting for the little humans
  • Come meet the dog trainers that teach in our parks at the Ask the Trainers tent
  • Lots of exhibitors and vendors
  • Food, fun and endless entertainment
  • The event is FREE!!, the park's gate admission will be in effect

Don't have a pet? Animal agencies and local rescue organizations will be on hand with lots of pals that need forever families.
