Stray Aid Yard Sale!

Join Stray Aid and their volunteers in helping the rescued animals!

There will be a yard sale on November 14th, 2009, from 8 a.m. till 2p.m. All Donations are welcome! 

Stray Aid needs help raising money to purchase food and supplies for the rescued pets. On Behalf of Grateful Paws Rescue a special raffle will be held~ monies raised will benefit homeless animals and a few already in their care.

Summer Lovin' Adoption Drive Weekend!/

In celebration of National Homeless Animals Day; Humane Society of Greater Miami will be hosting Summer Lovin' Adoption Drive! Saturday, August 15 and Saturday, August 22, from 1pm to 4pm.

Adorable Dogs will be available for adoption at the South Dade Petco, 18579 South Dixie Highway. There will be food and drinks, give-aways and raffle prizes!

 

A dog adopted from the Humane Society of Greater Miami has already been spayed or neutered and is up-to-date with all vaccines.

On-site adoptions will be offered at a 75% discount - all dogs only $50!

Attention Palm Beach Pet Owners: Get a $100 Vouchers to Spay/Neuter your Pet!

The Spay/Neuter Voucher Program is a $100 incentive for pet owners of domestic dogs and cats residing in Palm Beach County.

To qualify for the program, you must provide any of the following information:

• Show proof of aid from public assistance programs/unemployment benefits or


• Fall within the definition of low-income by the Federal Poverty Guidelines or


• Be a Senior citizen over the age of 70 years

Markham Park Pet Festival – March 21 & 22!

Everybody is welcome to the largest annual pet festival in South Florida!

Broward County Parks is hosting Markham Park's Pet Festival on March 21 & 22, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

This whole weekend event will have lots of fun and activities for pets and families:

• K-9 Sports
• Air K-9s Frisbee toss and fetch competition
• American IDOGS Fun Zone
• Flyball challenge and team Madd Mac Lure Coursing
• Rock climbing wall
• Bounce houses and face painting for the little humans
• Come meet the dog trainers that teach in our parks at the Ask the Trainers tent
• Lots of exhibitors and vendors
• Food, fun and endless entertainment
