“Art for Bark”: Help the animals of the Florida Keys affected by Hurricane Irma


Come and join fellow pet lovers Friday, Nov. 17th at the Riverside Hotel for “Art for Bark” and help raise funds for the Florida Keys SPCA.  Enjoy Happy Hour Cocktails, discover local artists, mingle and network with other animal enthusiasts and meet the amazing team of the Florida Keys SPCA

The event features an Art Auction and a raffle with fantastic prizes including:
  • Miami Heat tickets
  • Spa Treatments
  • Gym Packages and more!
Your donation helps the animals at The Florida Keys SPCA; a completely independent, private, not-for-profit organization working to place all adoptable animals into caring, loving, lifelong homes. Hurricane Irma caused significant damage throughout the Florida Keys and the region is still recovering.

Please RSVP by securing your tickets by November 10th. Tickets are only $20 in advance - $25 at the Door. It is all for a good cause!

Get Ready, Set (Woof!), Go! - Walk for the Animals - Humane Society of Broward County


The Humane Society of Broward County's Walk for the Animals will take place Saturday March 5, 2016 at Huizenga Plaza in Fort Lauderdale.


Come and join thousands of fellow pet lovers and their dogs in an easy-going 1-mile walk through Downtown Fort Lauderdale along the New River while raising funds to support HSBC's shelter and community outreach programs.

Form a pack, join a pack, walk on your own. Don't have a dog to walk with? Cat lover? You can help!!!

The Humane Society of Broward County provides shelter, aid and responsible adoptions to animals entrusted to their care, and educates the community about respect and kindness to all animals. The funds raised from this event will help continue their mission of helping animals and educating the community. 1st Annual Wildlife Baby Shower @Sawgrass Nature Center/Wildlife Hospital

Sawgrass Nature Center/Wildlife Hospital in Coral Springs will host their 1st Annual Wildlife Baby Shower. 

Guess Whoo is Expecting? All mama birds, squirrels, raccoons, opossums and many more!! Come and see all cute little creatures being born right in our backyard and learn more about South Florida's habitat and wildlife. 

The event starts at 10:00 am to noon on Saturday, February 27, 2016.

  • Games & Raffles
  • Cakewalk for kids and adults
  • Animal presentations
  • Refreshments
  • And of course, all Mamas and Babies!

Admission is only $5 and donations are suggested. Please visit here for a list of supplies needed. Sawgrass Nature Center/Wildlife Hospital runs on donations for the public. Any group (classroom, clubs, churches, temples) who participates in collecting needed supplies can sponsor and name one of the babies and follow it on Sawgrass Nature Center''s Facebook page!!
